Participants acquired general knowledge of chemical warfare agents, toxic industrial chemicals, individual protective equipment and detection and decontamination equipment, and an understanding of how all of the equipment is to be used. The course also facilitated the exchange of information and experiences regarding the implementation of Article X of the Chemical Weapons Convention.
