The OPCW and Government of the Slovak Republic co-organised an Advanced Laboratory Skills Training that was held from 15 to 25 October 2012 at the Reference Laboratory in Zemianske Kostolany. Nine participants from as many State Parties participated in the course.*
The course provided a sound working knowledge of the principles, procedures, and applications of different analytical methods for the analysis of chemicals related to the Chemical Weapons Convention, including chemical warfare agents. The agenda also offered training and hands-on experience in sample preparation, transportation, analysis and interpretation of results under field and laboratory conditions.
