The 11th Eleventh Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) Seminar was held in the village of Rakitje west of Zagreb from 17 to 20 March 2014, co-organised by the OPCW and the Regional Arms Control Verification and Implementation Assistance Centre (RACVIAC).

The purpose of the seminar was to discuss issues related to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), inform participants about Article X implementation, discuss contingency operations, and exercise a Chemical Incident Consequence Management scenario. The seminar was attended by 17 participants representing CWC National Authorities and other military and civilian agencies from eight countries in the south-eastern Europe region.*

The RACVIAC seminars have served as a forum for regional networking and for discussions on national CWC implementation and related issues. Additional information can be obtained at www.racviac.org.
