OPCW Director-General, H.E. Mr Ahmet Üzümcü
In an interview conducted for The Hindu newspaper during his recent visit to India, Director-General Ahmet Üzümcü discussed the challenges faced by the OPCW in charting a new course for itself as the task of destroying all existing chemical weapons stockpiles nears completion: “In 2013, I expect a new, adapted Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and Chemical Weapons Convention regime.”
